Spring has officially sprung and we have certainly got a bounce in our step at the prospect of sunny days and flourishing pastures. Despite the current situation in which we find ourselves, we have a lot to report here at R&R Country... Let's begin!

Feed Barn Still Open

Finally, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have temporarily had to close our main shops at Hemingbrough and Melton Mowbray. Please do not let this put you off shopping, we are still trading in our feed barns, and of course we are still available online. To make your life a little easier, we have lowered our free shipping threshold to £40 and over. If you do prefer to collect in-store - this service is also still available at this present moment in time.

24/7 Turnout

The clocks have come forward and our daylight hours are getting longer. A lot of horse owners prefer to keep their horses on 24/7 turnout this time of year, as it saves time and money. However, having adequate turnout in a secure area is imperative. This is why we are offering 10% OFF ELECTRIC FENCING - allowing you to get your paddocks in tip-top condition!

Flies

Warm weather is great but when the flies come swarming, not so much... There are plenty of options to control biting insects and flies at this time of year. Fly rugs are a great option for horses who suffer with insect bites on their bodies.  Many fly rugs also offer the additional benefit of UV protection and heat defence technology - allowing you and your horse to keep cool! Fly masks and fly sprays are also fantastic methods used to reduce the amount of flies that circulate.

Take a look at our fly rugs and masks today.

R&R Rider: A Break For Rosco

"After getting the vet to check him over and run x-rays, unfortunately it was discovered he had managed to fracture part of his pelvis" - Ian Pycock.

Cross CountryAriat Workout Essentials

We may have been forced into social isolation, but it is no excuse to isolate your fitness routine. The British Horse Society (BHS) have made a statement advising equestrians to avoid putting any unnecessary pressure on the emergency services at this current time.  Gyms also locked their doors last week for the foreseeable future which leaves one more option... home workouts.

Here at R&R Country, we have teamed up with Ariat to get you kitted out in suitable attire, ready for your ultimate home workout. Head over to our blog to find out more!

Ariat Laguna TopSpring Fashion

SS20 is in full swing and we are in receipt of some amazing new stock! We are loving the new Ariat spring/summer collection at the moment. Their colour scheme is typical of what can be seen on the catwalk currently. Pastel colours, such as baby pink and sky blue, are certain to be key pieces in the equestrian world this season.

Holland Cooper has also launched their new equestrian range and we cannot decide which products we like the best. If we had to pick, the Holland Cooper Equi-Hybrid Puffer Jacket is a real showstopper - also available in the trending pink colour.
