Valentine's Day

FEBRUARY IS HERE...

I know, we can't quite believe it either! On the plus side, February is the month of love and that gives us more excuses than normal to spoil our partners in crime! We might even look at treating our 2 legged companions too!

We've also got some ideas to help save you from the boredom of the 'Mk3 box rest' we find ourselves on!

Winter stable picnics

Picnic

With many of our horses spending more time stabled, you might feel like you're running out of ideas to keep you both occupied. So why not have a picnic with your horse? You could set up outside (or in) the stable. Gather some hot drinks and goodies together. We've even got ideas for diy horse friendly treats below! Then just enjoy some time, eating and relaxing with your beloved equine!

Coping with coughs

Stable Coughs

With changes in environment over the colder months, many horses suffer with winter coughs or respiratory issues.

If this sounds like your horse, check out our latest blog for some helpful tips and advice.

Stable enrichment

Horse Toys

Get creative and help relieve the boredom of being stabled. Place an old broom head or scratch mat in the stable to reach that stubborn itch! Hide suitable food/fruit/veg around the stable - let them bob for apples in the water bucket, hide carrots in the haynet, or hang it on a string for them. Or use treats to do gentle stretches. You could even read to them or play music!

Ariat Belford GTX Boot

With all the rain and mud we've had so far this year, you need a boot that is 100% waterproof! The Ariat Belford is fully lined with GORE-TEX, making it as waterproof as it gets! Say goodbye to wet feet and walk through puddles and mud in confidence! > Shop online <
