Road Safety Evening 31st August 2017

Do you ride out on the road? 
Do you know your rights, responsibilities and the law?
Don't worry we're holding down a Safety Evening held in collaboration with the British Horse Society & North Yorkshire Police, so you can get all the latest information. You'll hear from an array of experts regarding the Law and your safety when riding out on roads, plus they will offer advice on any specific road related queries you may have.
Speakers include BHS Director of Safety Alan Hiscox, Regional Manager of BHS Yorkshire Amy Clements, Traffic Constable Zoe Billings and Cathryn Godfrey Associate Solicitor from Irwin Mitchll LLP. They will be discussing different aspects of road safety and be on hand to answer any questions you may have.  

 

North Yorkshire Police will also be offering a tack marking service so please bring along any items of leather tack you would like marking using the Dotpeen property marking machine.

The talk will begin at 6pm and lasts 2 hours - spaces are limited so please book in advance.

Tack Marking will start at 5pm.

Tickets cost £3 and include a BHS Hi Vis tabard.

Children under 16 can come along for free.

Only those that pay and book in advance will receive a goody bag.
