Saddle Up For The New Year
As we jump head first into another new year, it's time to start thinking about our equestrian goals for 2018. With that in mind, we've also been thinking about the products we love for our horses. From must-have products to wish-list items, we have something for every occasion and every eventuality. Below are a few of our current faves...
1# LeMieux X-Grip Euro Jump Pad
We love this saddle pad for being lightweight and breathable, as well as offering fantastic grip under the saddle. This saddle pad is going nowhere!
What LeMieux say...
'The X-Grip Euro Jump square combines the stylish, iconic LeMieux cut with the new X-Grip silicone design to ensure saddle stability and grip. The Memory Foam under the saddle area aids with comfort and shock absorbency. The unique blast foam core has been through a process, where hot air is forced through the memory foam under pressure to create the extremely breathable yet supportive and lightweight perforated material.
The EuroJump design marks an exciting collaboration with Scott Brash, the world's no 1 showjumper. These pads have been developed to precisely fit the cut of modern jumping saddles. High Cut wither and swept up at the back to avoid catching the riders leg. New super soft Bamboo linings absorb & control sweat under the saddle and are beautifully comfortable and secure. Wider girth keepers incorporate three inner locking loops to offer more girthing options.'
2# Schockemohle Equitus Alpha Bridle
We love how comfortable this bridle is, as well as looking gorgeous on the horse!
What Schockemohle say...
'This bridle concept focuses on the sensitive head of the horse. Due to the innovative alignment, EQUITUS ALPHA provides the horse with ultimate wearing comfort. The new alignment avoids for instance the main facial nerve; it spares important blood vessels and arteries and reduces the pressure on the horse's neck. The innovative check pieces can be attached directly to the noseband and thus provide the rider with an uncomplicated adjustment possibility.
3# LeMieux Acoustic Fly Hood
If you have a horse who's a bit sensitive to noise, this is the fly hood for you. It also has the added bonus of being BD legal too.
What LeMieux say...
'Sharp noise is absorbed by a layer of dense sound proof micro-foam. Inner lining of bamboo ensures maximum comfort. Three-way advanced fabric technology. Increased concentration and relaxation. Utilises acoustic profile squares.'
4# Shires Arma Brushing Boots
We love the Shires Arma range for those days when you just want a hint of 'matchy matchy'.
What Shires say...
'Well priced neoprene brushing boots featuring padded, contoured strike pads and touch close fastenings. Perfect for everyday use.'
5# Horseware Rambo Duo Turnout Rug
The Rambo Duo is a firm favourite of ours for it's versatility, fit and style.
