In memory of the British show jumping star Tim Stockdale, we have raised £846 with our latest competition, and every penny will be donated to the Tim Stockdale Foundation.
Back in November 2018, we launched a competition to name our new wooden feature horse. The name “Stockdale” was chosen, in tribute to the late Olympic star. We launched a second competition in December to guess the height of the wooden horse and for every entry, we promised to donate a pound to the charity.
Laura Stockdale, Tim Stockdale’s wife paid thanks to R&R: “We are so grateful to R&R for running this competition and to everyone that entered. £846 is a huge amount to have raised and so generous of R&R.”
“This will make a fantastic contribution to our plans to enable greater participation in sports. Thank you from me and my sons Joseph and Mark.”.
Sue Moxon, Managing Director here at R&R Country said “We're absolutely thrilled to be donating £846 to the Tim Stockdale Foundation. The number of entries we received in such a short space of time was fantastic and knowing the money is going to be utilised to increase youth participation in sport and promote emerging talent makes us really happy!".
We will continue to support the Tim Stockdale Foundation and provide support where we can.
