Haylage is grass cut earlier and dried at a sooner stage of growth than hay, which is left to wilt instead of completely drying out. Furthermore, the horse haylage we stock is grown from premium, family farm grass or ryegrass and flash-dried to retain the colour, nutrients and aroma. Low protein, low sugar and high fibre make it perfect for less active horses or horses that conduct light to medium work.
